On this site I'd like you to investigate what I have to say about Mental Illness

First let me explain that Mental Illness is a brain illness and can affect anyone of any age, race, religion, or income. It is not the result of personal weakness, lack of character, or poor upbringing.
People that suffer mental illness also are of normal intelligence the same as anyone else. Mental illness does not strip you of your intelligence level and make you deficient in that regards. When people are in an active phase of their illness they can become confused and unable to manage for a spell. But they do not all of a sudden become unintelligent.
The symptoms of mental illness vary from mild to severe, depending on the type of mental illness, the individual, the family and the socio-economic environment.
There are so many different mental illnesses listed in the DSM I can't count them all. This site isn't large enough to address them all. I wish I could but I can't.

On this site I'd like to address mental illness in general What is it? How did we get it? Who else has it? How can I find coping techniques? What symptoms distress you the most? I'd also like to speak about the illnesses that I have because I know something about those ones.
So, have a visit to the Looney Bin and see what there is to find.

I also include a section on Pot. Many people that suffer a mental illness self-medicate in some way. Personally, I use Pot. I am not advocating the use of Pot for everyone. There are those that just don't like it. Those that don't want to be bothered and those that are underage. And you know who you are..... I advocate for those that find a benefit from its use and use it responsibly. I think it should be made readily available for people that need it.
So, if you are interested have a look at my 420 pages and see if they help you in anyway...

I have no professional medical background and do not give medical advise. But I have endured 50 odd years of mental illness and have a lot of knowledge. I have done a fair amount of research and as I find updated relevant info I post what I can. On this site I just wish to tell you what I have learned during my journey so far and would like to give you food for thought, quick answers and a point in the right direction for accurate information.
The purpose of this website is to provide a place for people with mental illness to communicate with each other. The best therapy is peer support. We learn more about ourselves when we share our experiences with others.
Many of us with a diagnosis have a difficult time sharing our feelings and experiences. It is extremely important that we create a comfortable environment for each other. The goal is to have fun, make new friends, learn more about our disorders and get motivated to take the steps necessary to overcome them.
